We are delighted to have Ellie as part of our hygiene team. Since qualifying as a Dental Hygienist from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2018, Ellie has developed a calm, caring, and preventative approach to helping patients improve and maintain their oral health.
Ellie has a particular interest in treating gum disease and supporting patients who may feel nervous or anxious about visiting the dentist. She takes time to make each appointment feel relaxed, reassuring, and informative, helping patients feel more confident about their oral health and the steps they can take at home.
Passionate about preventative care, Ellie believes that small daily habits can make a significant difference to long-term dental health. She enjoys helping patients understand how to care for their teeth and gums in a practical, manageable way, tailored to their individual needs.
Ellie is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and is committed to continually developing her knowledge and skills. She regularly attends CPD courses and further training to stay up to date with the latest techniques, guidance, and best practice within dental hygiene.
Ellie has also recently furthered her training to become a qualified Facial Aesthetics Practitioner, bringing her in-depth understanding of facial anatomy from dentistry into this growing area of her practice.
Outside of the surgery, Ellie enjoys running, playing netball, and travelling. However, much of her time is happily spent being mummy to her two young children.
