67055At Dentique Dentistry, we are proud to work with Paul Weston, Specialist Periodontist, who brings over 30 years of experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of gum health. Paul provides advanced periodontal care with a strong focus on both clinical excellence and patient reassurance.
Paul is a registered Specialist in Periodontology and has extensive experience caring for patients across Worcestershire. His clinical work focuses on advanced gum treatments and periodontal surgery, including crown lengthening, periodontal plastic surgery, connective tissue grafts, free gingival grafts, gum recontouring, gingivectomy, and periodontal regeneration. He offers comprehensive periodontal care, from detailed diagnosis and treatment planning through to both non-surgical and surgical management of gum disease.
A particular area of Paul’s clinical interest is the treatment of gum recession, helping to restore both the health and appearance of the gums following periodontal disease. His approach is carefully planned and patient-centred, with a strong emphasis on long-term stability and aesthetics.
Alongside his work at Dentique Dentistry, Paul is a Consultant in Periodontology and an Honorary Associate Professor at Birmingham Dental Hospital. He has held a number of senior leadership and educational roles throughout his career, including previously owning a dental practice and establishing England’s first NHS specialist periodontal referral service in primary care in 2005.
Paul remains actively involved in education and professional development within dentistry. He lectures and trains dentists and hygienists both locally and nationally, serves as an examiner for the Overseas Registrant Exam, and acts as an external examiner for postgraduate Master’s programmes in Periodontology at University College London. He is also the Clinical Lead in Periodontology at Birmingham Dental Hospital and plays an active role on the Council of the British Society of Periodontology.
