Paul qualified from the Royal Dental Hospital in 1983, gaining his BDS before going on to achieve his LDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1984. His commitment to continued professional development has been a defining feature of his career, and in 1997 he was awarded the DGDP(UK) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
During the early stages of his career, Paul completed advanced training at the SAAD and the Eastman Dental Hospital, focusing on general anaesthesia and sedation. This early emphasis on patient comfort and safe clinical practice continues to shape his approach today.
Between 2003 and 2005, Paul undertook advanced training in restorative, aesthetic, and implant dentistry at a specialist centre in Manchester. His clinical interests have since centred on implantology and advanced restorative dentistry, with a particular focus on delivering predictable, long-lasting results that enhance both function and appearance. In 2011, he further strengthened his academic credentials by completing a Master’s degree in Advanced General Dental Practice at the University of Birmingham, graduating with distinction.
Prior to establishing Dentique Dentistry, Paul served as Principal Dentist at a large practice near Stourbridge from 1988 to 2018. Under his leadership, the practice developed an excellent reputation locally, recognised not only for high clinical standards, but also for exceptional patient care, strong practice management, and a consistently high-quality service built over more than 30 years.
Paul has been actively involved in implant study groups and advanced treatment planning groups, ensuring his approach remains current, evidence-based, and patient-focused. He has also been a member of the Association of Dental Implantology UK and the British Dental Association.
